Profile Myriam Minne

Hello! My name is Myriam, and I reside in Lochristi. I am married and a proud mother of two adult children, Lore and Lennert, as well as a delighted grandmother to Lieselotje. I have been working as a social media expert at Wax since January 2014, after gaining years of experience in the fitness industry at Passage Fitness and JustFit.

I began engaging in sports in 2005 when I turned 40. My journey started slowly, both literally and figuratively, with Start 2 Run. However, it quickly gained momentum, and I am now the proud owner of 12 marathon medals and even one ultra-marathon medal! This accomplishment speaks volumes about my dedication and passion, two characteristics that define me.

My passion also extends to cooking. I first heard about Hotelschool Spermalie in Bruges from Ulla Werbrouck's mother, who praised their cooking courses. Intrigued, I attended an open day and enrolled. Since then, I have earned a chef's certificate and spent two years studying patisserie. My enthusiasm for cooking also includes collecting recipes. I subscribe to all cooking magazines and cannot resist purchasing cookbooks during my weekly shopping trips. Moreover, I consistently clip recipes from various publications and encourage my family to do the same. I even subscribe to daily and weekly culinary newsletters in multiple languages.

When I'm not running in and around Lochristi, you can find me in my kitchen, donning my apron and skillfully handling my knives, siphon, KitchenAid, and Magimix Cook Expert.
